The purpose of the International Association of Infant Massage website is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research; so parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
Classes are tailored to the group and include :
- You are taught how to massage your own baby
- Small class over a five week period
- Babies are allowed to be babies especially when they need a cuddle or feed
- A chance to socialise with other babies and parents as the class is not just about learning massage strokes
- There is time allocated for discussion of a topic chosen by and of importance to the group in week two to five.
- You are also encouraged to massage baby in between classes.
Classes can be held at Total Health or in your home and costs are from £66 for the 5 sessions. One to one tuition is available at an extra cost.
